I love this little car, so useful on short journeys and around town. It’s economical on petrol, comfortable (I have long legs but there’s plenty of room), plenty of boot space too, if the two back seats are kept down. I was surprised just how much I got into the car when going on holiday in it. Although the car is short (just a bit longer than a smart car) it is as wide as a much bigger car so feels roomy inside. It has a very distinctive shape (which I like), drives well (mostly – more of that later) and has a very tight turning circle. I have a 2014 iQ2 with only 22,000 miles on it but this is my third iQ and I think they are great. Lots of room in the front and very comfortable with a lot of big car extras not normally found on city cars. It can be a bit noisy on a motorway BUT it holds its own with the traffic at 70+ mph, and still has oomph to get out of the way. Mine is an automatic (lovely and smooth and it seems to change gear even though it is a CVT) and so I pay £20 a year in tax!
